As a fully remote studio, we rely on a talented network of freelancers to deliver exceptional work. We’re seeking Freelance Senior Full-Stack Developers to work on WordPress and/or Webflow projects.
Please note that although OtherFolk is a fully remote studio, you must be a UK-based freelancer to join our roster.
As a Senior Full-Stack Developer, you’ll collaborate with designers and project leads to develop high-performing, visually striking websites. You’ll focus on creating scalable, flexible, and easy-to-manage component-driven sites that meet the needs of our clients and their teams.
Build and maintain custom WordPress and/or Webflow websites, ensuring performance and responsiveness.
Create component-driven architectures using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Webflow CMS, or similar tools.
Translate designs into fully functional, pixel-perfect websites while ensuring accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
Optimise sites for speed and SEO, following best practices.
Provide input on technical feasibility during the design and planning stages.
Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support when needed.
At least 8 years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on WordPress and/or Webflow.
Strong proficiency in creating component-driven sites using ACF or equivalent tools.
Expertise in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GSAP motion, and frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap.
Knowledge of back-end development, including PHP for WordPress, and API integrations.
Experience with version control systems like Git. Attention to detail, with a strong focus on clean, maintainable code.
Familiarity with SEO and performance optimisation techniques.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
